Jake Gyllenhaal proposed a third time to girlfriend Reese Witherspoon, according to StarMagazine.com. And Reese said what Jake was waiting to hear – “Yes!”
Reese wanted to keep the news quiet, the magazine said. But, um, how are people going to ignore that gorgeous diamond ring on her finger?
When Reese was shooting a recent Avon commercial, she took her engagement ring off after she noticed people staring at her hand, according to StarMagazine.
Of course, people talked about the engagement ring anyway. It wasn’t a surprise that the couple was engaged, but the diamond ring made it official.
The magazine reported that Reese wants to have a simple wedding. They might even do a southern-style barbecue.
Reese split up with former husband Ryan Phillippe in 2006. She and Ryan have two children. She called that divorce “very humiliating and very isolating.”
